Today in Japan they started a new service where you can get coupons on your cell phone.

You browse the web on your cell phone. You see a coupon for something you want like at the super market. You click on it and a barcode appears on the display of your cell phone. The register at the supermarket can then scan that barcode right off the display of your cell phone and give you the discount.
