Oh, so you can cook BREAD in a rice cooker.... Man, I can't even cook RICE in a rice cooker.   It gets stuck to the sides, then I get mad, everything goes black and I wake up in jail with blood on my shoes. Good luck with BREAD. posted by OGHCOctober 1, 2005 at 12:11 [ e ]

Tasty I read about the 'cooking bread in rice cooker' from my mom, who also claimed that you could cook a cake. I didn't really believe her until I read Yakitate Japan in manga form, translated by snoopycool. I tried it out a few months back, and surprisingly it tastes pretty good, although I forgot to add more water, which made it pretty dry.
