wow.. as I read, this whole feeling of "packing up and moving on in a silent night" came over. As in.. to you it's a whole new move in your life but no one else realizes it.

the meaning of April [ e ]

アメリカでは4月の意味は特にない。学校は9月に始まり、会社を採用している季節はあまりないと思うけど、あれば6月かも、桜あまりないから特別のエベントがない。場所によって、5月一日は花の日という祭りがあるけど。

恋愛について、June Brideという表現がある。なんとなく、6月には結婚式が多いと思われているけど、実は本当かどうか分からない。後学校の制度によって違うけど、普通に夏休みは3ヶ月だ。6月中旬から9月初旬まで。それで暇沢山あるのでsummer loveという表現もある。その三月に長い旅行して、その間恋人を出来て、でも旅行が終わったら、その恋愛も終わり。それはsummer loveということ。

First off I have to say I love your site.  My small business uses Value Web (www.valueweb.com) for our hosting needs.  We have had good luck with them and they recently won PC Magazines editors choice for best hosting service.  They have a plan called the commerce hosting plan that is 50 per month with a 40 setup that allows 30 gb monthly transfer 500MB disk space.  The next plan up is 75 per month and has 40 gb monthly and 750 MB storage.  Check it out.  I will say that part of the motivation for this advice is that I enjoy checking your site every morning and wouldn't want that complicated by the challenges of self hosting but anyways I hope the info is useful.

I've been satisfied with their service, but then again my bandwidth needs aren't anywhere near 20-25 gig!  Their $26/month plan offers 1GB of storage and 30GB of transfers/month.

ISP suggestion. [ e ]

I'm using www.lunarpages.com - 60 gigs (which I use all of) for like $22 a month! best deal on the net, cpanel front end with all the trimmings. 

You know an ISP is good when they have an open forum (www.lunarforums.com) and nobody is mad.

Only bad thing is if you want to go over the 60 gb transfer you get reamed and have to email to get it raised.

New ISP [ e ]

I'm with a new ISP.  I don't like them as much as my old ISP but at least they aren't going to charge me $400 a month.

But, right after I switched a made a bunch of changes to bring my CPU usage down.  The biggest is probably caching the front page.  Unless something changes it's now cached.  There were a few more bookkeeping issues that use to happen ever time a page was served that are now cached since they generally don't change.

The most interesting thing to me between my new ISP and my old ISP.  My old ISP didn't ever tell me about any problems I was causing them or, they had their servers configured so it was not an issue for them.  When I switched ISPs my new ISP immediately shut me down because they said my site was spewing out warnings to their logs and crashing their server.  I was kind of startled because I've been running this site for years and my old ISP never said a thing plus I'd never seen any warnings from my old ISP or at home on my test setup.

But, that made me go figure out how to get those warnings to appear at home and so I was able to go through my scripts and get rid of pretty much all of them. (I hope).  Now with all the changes I wonder if I could have stayed at my old ISP

Hi! I already love your site and plan to be a regular reader. I discovered it while doing an internet search for "Bob Sapp" after a 10-year old Japanese girl mentioned his name to me.

When it comes to hosting, I use two different hosts for different domains. My main site is hosted on lunarpages.com, which offers 20GB of bandwidth for $8 per month ($10 with add-on JSP support, which I need). Their service is AWESOME. I've never sent them an e-mail that wasn't answered in less than 10 minutes, any time of the day or night, and they also have a 800 number.

The other host I use is http://www.fuitadnet.com/. They're a little bit cheaper, and they offer higher bandwidth plans. Their plans range from $4.99/month for 25GB of bandwidth and 3GB of storage, to $34.99 for 175GB and 15GB of storage. I find their control panel much harder to use than lunarpages though.
